Carrie is Pregnant! 

OK, rumour control was right!  I am pregnant, and expecting my first in July 08. Yikes!

I'm increasing in size daily, but in general have found my way round as normal up until now, and with only the occasional kick in the ribs!  Maybe I'm having it easy, or am incredibly lucky, but after hearing from lots of other women I was expecting to be all but unable to function within 6 weeks of finding out.  I think there's a good chance some women embrace it as a reason to take their feet off the gas completely, and I for one would rather be enjoying the interaction and environment at our office!  I mean, take it easier of course and be ever-mindful, but it doesn't mean you can sit on your ass all day getting tea and chocolate carried to you!  Also, I think not sitting around all day has stopped me ballooning in size 'cos I'm still moving around! 

I'd think I'd be bored out of my mind at home, although I guess that may change! I'll probably taek maternity leave about June time, depending on how things go, but I'll be back!. Wish me luck!
