As a company, we like to get out regularly!  Each month or so, we visit a local eatery or venue and let off some steam.  Pictured here at a fab Indian restaurant, here's the main team a little worse for wear...

So, which of Dynamics' staff spend their free-time in rock and pop bands?!

At Dynamics, we're all into our music.  Within our Towcester-based team, there's three guitar players, a drummer, a keyboard player and two performing vocalists!

Carrie is a veteran singer, with hundreds of live gigs in all-girl groups and some recordings under her belt. She's currently leading her band Funkstar, as well as being a vocalist in a professional function band; go girl!

Gary is an ex full-time musician - a professional drummer. His band - GI Orange - had great success in the Far East, releasing albums & videos, earning a gold disc AND achieving a number one record by knocking Duran Duran off the No 1 spot! A very accomplished music nut!

Jason is primarily a lead-vocalist but also plays electric & acoustic guitar, having performed in UK bands, recording studios and even completing a 3-month tour in Austria!  He also owns MK's number one music shop Hollywood Music and is currently frontman & lead-vocalist in Rock & Pop band '9 Lives'.

Mat plays some guitar & keyboards, mainly for fun - unless you happen to be listening :-)

Where do we find time? Well, mostly we never sleep...

Early Monday morning, Carrie gave birth to a baby girl.

Mother and baby are doing well - we will let her update the rest!

Carrie is Pregnant! 

OK, rumour control was right!  I am pregnant, and expecting my first in July 08. Yikes!

I'm increasing in size daily, but in general have found my way round as normal up until now, and with only the occasional kick in the ribs!  Maybe I'm having it easy, or am incredibly lucky, but after hearing from lots of other women I was expecting to be all but unable to function within 6 weeks of finding out.  I think there's a good chance some women embrace it as a reason to take their feet off the gas completely, and I for one would rather be enjoying the interaction and environment at our office!  I mean, take it easier of course and be ever-mindful, but it doesn't mean you can sit on your ass all day getting tea and chocolate carried to you!  Also, I think not sitting around all day has stopped me ballooning in size 'cos I'm still moving around! 

I'd think I'd be bored out of my mind at home, although I guess that may change! I'll probably taek maternity leave about June time, depending on how things go, but I'll be back!. Wish me luck!

Crikey - it's spreading!  Clearly our new water supply is having strange effects on the staff, as Mat's wife is now also expecting a baby!  Although if Mat himself was expecting, that really would be something strange and worth a VideoCast of it's own!

So whatever's in the water, seems to work on men and women just as well..!

I should probably mention that my better-half runs a business called Winnie and Friends, an online baby products suppliers.  Seems like a good choice lately...!

So congrats to Mat & Eloise; best get me a glass of the good stuff...
